Many children, including patients diagnosed with high anxiety, can benefit from a graduated introduction to dental visits and dental care, particularly if it is their first-time visit.

Our pediatric dentists work together with your pediatrician, lactation consultant, oral myofunctional therapist, speech pathologist and other health care providers to ensure that the frenectomy procedure is the best course of treatment for your baby/child. If your child is experiencing a tongue or lip-tie, we can provide a quick procedure called a frenectomy to give the tongue a greater range of motion.

Sedation dentistry helps our young patients be calm and comfortable and remain safe during dental treatment. At Puget Sound Pediatric Dentistry, we believe in giving a child the minimum sedation necessary while maintaining their comfort. Using appropriate sedation is a recommended process by the American Dental Association as needed to help a patient feel at ease.
