DR. CHAD SLAVEN
As soon as Dr. Chad started dental school, he knew a specialty in pediatrics was for him. He loves that every day and every patient is unique with pediatric dentistry. Before pursuing a career in dentistry, Dr. Chad was interested in a career in psychology, so he loves that working with pediatric patients combines his love for dentistry as well as his love for psychology and getting to know a patient. Every patient has different needs, and he loves learning how to help each patient have the best experience in the dental office.
Dr. Chad truly LOVES being a pediatric dentist. He wakes up every day looking forward to seeing his patients as well as his team. He loves being silly with his patients and just having fun! His patients keep him laughing and smiling all day long. Puget Sound Pediatric Dentistry is a family. The doctors, the clinical and front desk staff, the office managers, and ESPECIALLY the patients are all considered part of the PSPD family.
Specifically, Dr. Chad loves the locations of Puget Sound Pediatric Dentistry practices. His patients are not just a number to him. He loves being in areas where he gets to know his patients.
Dr. Chad grew up in a very small town, Cumberland Gap, in East Tennessee, where Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia meet. He attended Middle Tennessee State University and then the University of Tennessee for dental school.
